16th to 30th June 2008	2nd year of BJS - EDUQIP begins in Goa for the academic year 2008-09. SAP (Student Assessment Program) for the student of Class VIII successfully conducted in 39 schools of GOA.
14th May 2008	The fifth G-BASIC meeting was held at the Conference Room of the Education Directorate wherein the following members were present.1. Dr. Celsa Pinto (Director Dept. of Education, Goa) 2. Shri. Santosh Amonkar (Jt. Director - SCERT, Goa) 3. Shri. Suhas Thakurdesai, Manager, BJS-EDUQIP, Goa. 4. Brig. Satish Kalia (Dy. Director, BJS, Pune) 5. Mr. G.P. Bhatt, Director SCERT, Goa (Co-opted member).
10th March 2008	First visit for EBSIP Schools. Dept of Goa has selected 22 schools for launching EDUQIP Based School Improvement Plan. BJS EDUQIP (Goa) will regularly monitor these schools for quality improvement.
4th & 5th Februray 2008	MDP Level II inaugurated for Goa Education Officers. Director Education, Dr. Celsa Pinto inaugurated the event. Project In Charge (Goa) Avinash Bhambra welcomed the gathering. Exe. Director Shri Sunil Phadke and Dy. Director Brig. Kalia conducted the session. Mr. Mohan Goankar, resource person BJS, proposed the vote of thanks.
6th to 8th December 2007	Launched Teachers’ Training Program for Teachers of Goa. 1st program was held in Tiswadi Taluka, Central Education Zone. All the teachers who attended appreciated the program.
7th December 2007	The fourth G-BASIC meeting was held at the Conference Room of the Education Directorate wherein the following members were present. 1.Dr. Celsa Pinto (Director Dept. of Education, Goa) 2.Shri.Santosh Amonkar (Jt. Director - SCERT, Goa)3.Mr. G.P. Bhatt, Director SCERT, Goa ( Co-opted member). 4.Shri. Avinash Bhambra,Project In-Charge, BJS-EDUQIP, Goa. 5.Brig. Satish Kalia (Dy. Director, BJS, Pune)
4th December 2007	Launched “SMART” School Administration Software Program for Schools of Goa.
24th October 2007	Accreditation completed in all secondary schools given to BJS by the Government of Goa.
9th October 2007	3rd G-BASIC meeting held at Conference Hall, Directorate of Education, Govt. of Goa, Panaji
11th September 2007	The first Pri - Accreditation for Goa schools is held in North Goa, Bicholim Taluka covering 92 schools. BJS Ex. Dir Shri. Sunil Phadke and Deputy Dir. Brig. Satish Kalia conduct it along with BJS EDUQIP (Goa) team.
1st August 2007	The deputed teachers and CRPs leave for Pune to undergo training on BJS EDUQIP.
19th July 2007	The second G-BASIC meeting was held at the Conference Room of the Education Directorate wherein the following members were present.1. Dr.Celsa Pinto (Director Dept. of Education, Goa)2. Shri.Santosh Amonkar (Jt. Director - SCERT, Goa)3. Shri. Avinash Bhambra,Project In-Charge, BJS-EDUQIP, Goa.4. Brig. Satish Kalia (Dy. Director, BJS, Pune)5. Shri. Anil Pawar could not attend the meeting due to an urgent commitment elsewhere.
2nd July 2007	Accreditation of Schools in Goa took off with 3 teams covering Tiswadi, Ponda, Bardez and Bicholim talukas.
26th June 2007	Meeting of 22 Heads of Institutions was conducted at Directorate of Education Office at Panaji, Goa, for selection & deputation of 22 teachers for BJS-EDUQIP - Goa Project. The meeting was chaired by Director Education - Dr. Celsa Pinto in the presence of Jt. Director SCERT - Mr. Santosh S. Amonkar and Deputy Director - Mr. Pawar. Mr. Arun Chaturvedi - Asst. Director, BJS along with few officials of BJS was also present during the meeting.
18th to 23rd June 2007	Induction Program organized for BJS Goa Team at Senate Hall, BJS Pune Head Office. Shri. Shantilal Muttha, National President BJS, Mr. Prafulla Parakh - National Secretary - BJS, Brig. Satish Kalia, Deputy Director - BJS, Mr. Arun Chaturvedi, Asst. Director BJS and other Senior Officials of BJS conducted the Induction Program for the newly joined staff of BJS Goa. Dr. Devendra Agochia, Consultant, conducted a special session for the Team.
16th June 2007	The complete Goa team leaves for Pune for attending formal Induction Program at BJS Head Office.
31st May to 2nd June 2007	Walk-in interviews conducted at BJS Goa office by BJS National President Shri. Shantilal Muttha, Deputy Director - Brig. Satish Kalia and Goa Project In-charge Mr. Raju Ghosh in the presence of Manager – HR, Mr. Vinod Khedlekar. Subsequently offer letters were issued to selected candidates.
25th May 2007	Fresh advertisements for recruitment were released in Gomantak, Herald, & Navhind Times in Goa between 23rd and 25th May 2007.
18th May 2007	BJS National President Shri. Shantilalji Muttha had a formal meeting with the Dr. Celsa Pinto (Director Dept. of Education, GOA) along with Brig. Satish Kalia (Dy. Director, BJS, Pune) & Mr. Raju Ghosh (Project Incharge, BJS-EDUQIP (GOA)
18th May 2007	The First G-BASIC Meeting was held in the Conference Room of the Education Directorate wherein the following members were present.1) Dr. Celsa Pinto (Director Dept. of Education, GOA)2) Mr. Santosh Amonkar (Jt.Director SCERT, GOA)3) Mr. A. Pawar (Dy.Director, Dept. of Education, GOA)4) Brig. Satish Kalia (Dy.Director, BJS,Pune)5) Mr. Raju Ghosh (Project Incharge, BJS-EDUQIP (GOA)BJS National President Shri. Shantilalji Muttha made a visit to BJS-EDUQIP, Goa Office and had a session with all the staff members.
30th April 2007	Received the signed MOU from HO-Pune and subsequently handed over to Mr. Santosh Amonkar - Jt. Director, SCERT
9th April 2007	Brig. Satish Kalia, Dy. Director, BJS along with Mr. Raju Ghosh Project In charge, BJS had meeting with Dr. Celsa Pinto, Director Education, regarding signing of MOU and related issues.
15th March 2007	BJS-EDUQIP Program was inaugurated at Mary Immaculate Girl’s High School, Panaji in the presence of Mr. Udipto Ray, Secretary of Education, Govt. of Goa, Dr.Celsa Pinto, Director of Education, Mr. Anand Agashe, Editor Director of Sakal group and Mr. Shantilal Muttha, National President BJS, along with several dignitaries from Education Department, Govt. of Goa and BJS. Around 80 heads of the institutes from Tiswadi Taluka were present during the occasion.
12th March 2007	Mr. Santosh Amonkar, Jt. Director, SCERT, officially allots 2 room Office space for BJS Goa, at SIE Building, 2nd Floor, Alto Betim, Provorim Goa.
7th March 2007	BJS Executive Director, Mr. Sunil Phadke, Dy. Director Brig. Satish Kalia and Mr. Raju Ghosh ,Project In Charge- Goa had meeting with Dr. Celsa Pinto, Director Education, and all Dy. Directors of North, Central and South Education Zones, to brief about the Project, Orientation Programs and introduction of the Core Team. Also had meeting with Mr. L.M.T. Fernandes State Project Director, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan - Goa.
4th March 2007	BJS Core Team Headed by Mr. Raju Ghosh (Project In charge-Goa) leaves Pune for Goa, and reaches Circuit House, Altino, Goa, on evening at the same day.
